The idea for today’s strip was completely stolen from Doug (see yesterday’s comment section). I felt bad for a minute, but then I thought an idea that good needed to be shared…
‘Float him to the top…’ Now that’s lateral thinking at it’s finest!
It reminds me of my favourite Onion headline of all time:
‘Free Thinking Cat Shits Outside the Box’

If you ever REALLY need help, ask your brother. If you kinda need help, NEVER ask your brother
Revved up to do some more chainsawing later today!
That can’t be good… never shimmy down a tire tunnel with your hands at your sides, that’s my advice.
Working on a photo blog with daughter #4, lotsa fun!
Too wet to play street hockey? Time for Rugby SplashBall!
Happy Memorial Day weekend to everyone in the States! We were just down your way yesterday for a really nice visit with some friends in North Dakota, good times! (And great food!)
Even super-villians have childhoods…
And thus we bid farewell to Mr. Fluffy, as he returns to his maker (in this case, Sean of Underwhelmed the comic).
Hey! It’s the weekend! Party like it’s 1999!
This one evolved from a comment I left at the comic ‘Underwhelmed’, where Mr. Fluffy accepted a staring contest challenge… and now Mr. Fluffy has no eyes. Poor Mr. Fluffy.
Sounds like we might have a visitor coming next week… we’ll see.
You know what they say, show me a good goalie, and I’ll show you a good coach.
Hope everyone had a great long weekend, mine was so great I extended it a day…
May Long – you gotta prepare!
(May Long is the Victoria Day long weekend, I don’t know if everyone calls it that, or if it’s just me… I knew a guy tree planting who spent most of the season talking about his ‘May Long Party’, and May Long kind of stuck in my head.)
It’s been awhile since I’ve seen really amazing Northern Lights, but when it happens… oh, man, so cool.
Two days in a row that I haven’t cut any body parts off with my new chainsaw, I’m a winner! Thinking I might tackle a fallen tree in the backyard this weekend, but a little nervous about that because it used to be the kid’s tree house. Meaning that it’s filled with nails, which I understand can be bad for chainsaws…
You’re never sure how close you are til you hit it…
Good luck to daughter #3 who’s going to take her driver’s test today!
Chainsaw works, and I’m still intact! So that was a win!
