Kings won the Cup! Okay, I’m not a huge Kings fan, but after 45 years, they’re due. And any year the Leafs don’t win the Cup is a good year by me. 
But the main reason I wanted the Kings to win the Cup was that Dustin Penner is from Winkler, and he’s going to bring the Cup back to Southern Manitoba. Party with Lord Stanley’s mug!

Kind of a Canadian tradition to get your picture taken with the Stanley Cup, but I refused to touch it (you’re not supposed to touch it til you win it; I’m still sort of hoping to get drafted by the Canadiens).
