Okay, I’m making an open call for a better title to this strip… and I apologize profusely for ‘Hang in There’. It’s late.
So here’s hoping Team America isn’t too hungover today, and I hope you all had a great Fourth of July. Daughter #2 was in New York for July 4th, and early reports are that it was a blast for her!

28 Seconds Later?
Fell on Arrival?
Drop Zone?
The Falling Tree?
Wow, pretty much all better than the one I came up with!
“Hey, Gravity Works!”
‘Gravity Works’ is actually the title I used when I posted it elsewhere, good one!
Game over -> “Hangover” ?
‘Hangover’ is excellent, great play on words there!
“My Weekend”
Okay, I’m officially outsourcing all title-writing to you guys
*dies laughing*
ha ha ha plop, the sound of someone laughing their head off!
I like “hang in there” I think because it reminds me of Marge Simpson’s motivational poster with the cat hanging onto a tree branch. I’m pretty sure the caption on that poster was the classic “Hang in There Baby”.
I’m old enough to remember the original poster, kind of an orange-ish cat if I recall! That makes me feel a bit better, if it’s good enough for the Simpsons, it’s good enough for me!
“He ain’t heavy, he’s my brother”
That would actually be a good name for the whole strip…
why’d he let go in panel 2 anyways? We all know when one hand goes, you’re goin’ down…
I was actually going to write dialogue to explain that, he was going to have a thought bubble saying ‘I’ll just rest one arm for awhile, then switch when the other gets tired.’ I was also going to try and work in the idea that it’s like carrying a big jug of milk, you keep switching hands as it gets cold, and you end up flipping it back and forth. But in the end I decided ‘less is more’, because I prefer less dialogue and more visuals. But yeah, it needs something to explain why he let go one hand…
incidentally, how long was his hospital stay this time?
