Mom’s home from Australia, we picked her up at the airport yesterday, and she appears none the worse for wear. Must be a new kinder, gentler Australia…?

He’s complaining because he’s a whiney little bugger who doesn’t realize that hard work builds character, godammit!
As they say, wood heats twice.
Or maybe three times, or more.
(Twice – once when you work at cutting it, and then when you burn it. More would be all the hauling and stacking and hauling some more.)
